I thought maybe it would be a good idea to post how to melt marshmallows or any other sweet delicates over the stove just incase someone out there needed some help. 🙂 So, let’s get this sweet mess started!
Sometimes life tries to kill your baking buzz and you may not always have what you need at the time your making a mother loving mess in the kitchen. So, just stay positive and keep that bakers buzz agoing…heehee. I don’t have a double broiler so I just used two pans I had to create one.
P.S If your melting chocolate you don’t have to cover it. Just keep your eye on it and stir away so it doesn’t burn.
So first things first
- Add a good amount of water to the bottom pan and a pan for the goods on top. (Make sure it is a GOOD amount becuase it will evaperate and you’ll burn the pan. :0 )
- Turn stove on medium high and let it boil.
- Add some coconut oil if you have some, it just helps the marshmallows melt a little better. Mix around and get the oil all over the marshmallows.
- Cover, watch closely, and keep stirring. After each stir put the top back on.
Hope this helps someone who needs it 🙂
